Just a few hours and Javapolis 2006, the biggest european conference on Java and related technologies, will open its doors to the public in Antwerpen.
I’ll fly to Belgium with a good group of other italian guys on Tuesday. If you are in the area, leave a comment or email me! It’s my forth time in [...]

Roman Strobl has also listed in his blog all the other videos produced by the Czech Jug. Check them out!

Back from Prague

Finally I’m back in Milan, after spending most part of the last week in the beautiful city of Prague where I presented my From J2ee to Java EE tour at the November meeting of the Jug Prague.

As always happens at Jug meetings, we had a great fun before (with Roman), during and after (with the [...]

Did I say… busy month?

Another quick post, just to remember what’s happening around here in this crazy November.

Yesterday I was in Novara, for the local JavaDay. I definitely like these small conferences organized by little Java User Groups all around Italy, and, as you can see, I never miss an opportunity to visit them and present a speach.
It has [...]

Tomorrow @ JugTorino

November is a busy month, so I haven’t had much time to blog… anyway, tomorrow night I’ll be in Torino for the JugTorino’s November meeting.
It’ll be a good occasion to meet all the friends of JugTorino and, obviously, to present my J2ee To Java EE Tour.

More details on the meeting here.

“You never get a second chance to make a first impression”

Better Beginnings: how to start a presentation, book, article…

Java User Group Milano (discusses a “Java EE 5 reference architecture”)

The code of the sample application I use in these [...]

JavaDay Pisa: recap

First of all, I really want to thank the guys of JugToscana (Ludwig Bargagli and Paolo Tacconi… don’t you have a blog guys?) for the organization of the JavaDay. I was very pleased to discover that also in Tuscany there’s a vibrant, curious and numerous community of Java developers. In fact during the first presentations [...]
