Akismet powered
I used to filter comment spam in this blog using a homegrown “Comment blacklist”, and it worked very well… in the beginning. However, in the last few day I had no time to regularly check my daily dose of spam and feed the blacklist, and as a result I had some spam published in my blog.
So, following Ugo suggestion, I’m gonna give Akismet a try..
Akismet is a Wordpress plugin which filters all your comments using a web service; it is collaborative, since it takes advantage of and learns by all the submission it receives, and, luckily, free for non-commercial use. So why don’t try it?
So far so good, in a few hours it has caught a couple of comments.
