JavaConference in photos

Strangely enough for a passionate photographer like I am, I didn’t take any photo at the Java Conference (actually, I didn’t bring my camera with me, since I already had my laptop and a ton of gadgets for our JugMilano booth). Nevertheless, I’ve collected (from friends, flickr or both) some, just to bring to the light some nice moments and details.

I met my first reader! Unfortunately (or.. fortunately?) the photo (taken with a crappy cameraphone) is poor quality, but if you look at it you will notice I’m actually signing the copy… a bit embarassing moment, to tell you the truth, since I didn’t exactly know what to write.. except for my sign, obviously.

Paolo DonĂ  (of JugPadova) sells for 5 dollars a t-shirt to James Gosling. Paolo is not new to this kind of performances, having sold another t-shirt to Joshua Bloch last winter in Antwerpen.

My badge as a speaker. Ok, I’ve already posted this photo, but I like it!

The “Italian Java Champions” connection with some Sun guys; from the left to the right: Ugo Landini, Bruno Bossola, me, Fabrizio Gianneschi and Giovanni Pirola, one of the organizer of the Java Conference.

The official t-shirt of the JavaConference.

A couple of Java cups gently donated by the Java Italian Portal

But the award for the best t-shirt goes to…. Jug Padova! for their great “Fuffa 2.0″ logo.
It’s a beta, obviously.
