End of summer updates means, first of all, that I forgot to blog again. Some things never change... :-| Anyway, there are some things to save of this summer. First of all, I started the season flying to Zurich to attend the OSGi Devcon 2009, just a few days after being accepted as Apache Felix committer. Had a good time there, met many good people, and ate my first original Swiss fondue (burp). Probably reinvigorated by the experience, I decided to put (much) more effort on the OSGi Look. First of all I bought myself a Linode virtual server and migrated all the data over there. Secondly, I started to post on a regular schedule, and to follow all the (yadda-yadda) SEO and "pro" blogging websites. Fascinating world (just kidding). Anyway, the OSGi Look is going very well. Lots of pageviews, good contents (check!), and plenty of ideas that only need some time to be implemented. |
In my (copious) free time I started developing an OSGi Rest console. Not sure the news deserve a line in my end-of-summer updates, but it has already been used by Toni and Sahoo.
No, I still haven't learnt German. But I enrolled in my fourth language course at the end of August.
Went regularly to the gym. One every two weeks.
Spent my 5 days summer vacation in Cagliari.
A lot of achievements there:
